Liz just left me the nicest message. She might have meant it in the "wow, you're as messed up and aimless as Rory is" sense, but I'm taking it as "wow, it's great that you read so much, and you wear cute clothes, and plan excellent parties, and I'm sure you'll eventually go back to school and do really well."

Also, I think it is very cute that all of my girl friends watch this show. I feel like I have contributed to y'all's lives by insisting that this show is awesome.
Also, I better figure out what the hell I'm doing with my life because I promised my parents I'd be back on track before Rory and it looks like they are going to push her back toward Yale soon.
Also, it is COLD here and it snowed in western Pennsylvania yesterday and I am huddled next to my space heater hoping that it doesn't snow here yet!
Leave comments if you have thoughts on Gilmore Girls. Personally, I'm all for Rory and Lorelei getting back to the old ways, but I am VERY UPSET by the preview for next week. I am not happy that they are bringing Jess back and I hope he is a short lived character. I still hate him. And...I think they should have themed Rory's party around the atlantic city plan and had a casino party with martinis and such. That would have been great.

here are my thoughts on gilmore girls...i think they need to have rory and lorelai friends again. i also hope that jess is a short term character, but i'm glad he's back ( i don't like him either) only because i hope he gets rory back on the right track. i want the wedding plans to start. i don't think the party should have been centered around vegas because that would make rory and lorelai even more sad. i think lorelai should have taken rory to atlantic city anyways, ditched the party and made each other go, and that's how they should have rekendled their relationship.
I was hoping for the 21 at midnight thing myself, but as a mom I can contribute that sometimes real life is more complicated than either of you wants it to be.
