My Library-To-Be

Since I'm trapped in my room I've been thinking about the house I'm going to have in a decade. It will need three bedrooms: one for me, one for guests, and one for my books. I think mostly about the library. Here is what I've decided are the ideal elements of the library:

1. Lemon frosting colored walls with white trim.
2. White built-ins on two walls.
3. A gas fireplace with mantle.
4. A window seat.
5. A really comfortable chair. Maybe something like this that I found at La-Z Boy:

I'm not sure about the pattern v. solid situation, and obviously it requires an overstuffed ottoman, but you get the idea...

6. Cheerful, bookish, eclectic artwork that makes me happy. I've been stalking good stuff on etsy. Like these, which would be arranged in a puzzle pattern on one wall:

I'm also on the lookout for old ex libris imprints or inscriptions from old books, I think those are fun to frame and put up as well. Feel free to pass on any ancient, falling apart books that have frameable scribblings or stampings!
