Afternoon Walk

Yesterday afternoon I walked down to Clark Park about 4:30. It was a pretty afternoon (after being an overcast day), so I stayed a while and read and worked on my Christmas list. I think I have everyone but Granddaddy figured out. On the way in, I saw something I thought was pretty funny: a tree eating a sign-

On the way back I saw a tree that looked almost fall-ish. I was so excited I took a picture:



And then I stopped at 47th and Baltimore to take a picture of my corner. If you look closely, you can see the trolley coming in the lower right hand corner. The deli on the left makes good macaroni and cheese; the church in the background is Calvary United Methodist:



Then I went inside and talked to Dan (and Corey and Erik) before (t)he(y) went to band practice...and of course then I watched Gilmore Girls. Yay WB. :)
