The Happy List

These are things that make me happy. Perhaps they'll make you happy, too. If not, I will still be happy enough for both of us.

1. The Diva radio station. Out of New Orleans. Honestly, there is no other radio station I have ever heard anywhere that is better than this, and I listen online all the time while I clean my house.

2. I made a perfect omelet last night. I mean, that thing was amazing. A tinge of golden around the edges, perfectly melted swiss cheese, savory sauteed mushrooms, and it even folded in half like a dream. I should have taken a picture. But my friend Sasha witnessed it and will back me up.

3. Ithaca. One of my all time favorite poems. It never fails to give me back perspective on what matters and what doesn't.

4. Spring Vera Bradley patterns. They make my heart jump up and down every time I look at the website. Financial Aid can't get here soon enough.

5. Pitch for a potential Budweiser ad. I would pay to download this on iTunes if it was actually made.



Those are the things making me smile tonight. More will come as I discover them.
