Things I've noticed lately:

1. There is something satisfying about crafting that can't be duplicated by non-creative actions. I forgot how much I enjoyed playing with fabric and glue guns and stickers in high school until I made a tote bag yesterday for the Breaking Dawn release party at Borders.

2. I really like going to the movies by myself. More than I do with other people.

3. Brendan James's debut cd, The Day is Brave, is my favorite thing since Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume.

4. My Boys is not as funny this season.

5. I like wearing sundresses.

6. I've become increasingly self-contained in terms of chatting with friends. I'm pretty sure my phone bill will be negligible this month. I'm ok with that; it's nice not talking to people sometimes.

7. I'd like to be past the phase in which all my friends get married. Weddings are really not my thing.

8. The benefit of living on the coast it entirely lost on me. I've seen the ocean three times this summer, twice of those with friends, once with my family.

9. I don't have time to scrapbook, so I put stickers in my journal and pretend that's a layout.

10. I had my first client meeting without a supervising attorney yesterday. It was scary. I hope I didn't screw anything up too much.

11. I miss Gainesville.

12. I miss Ocala.

13. I miss naps.

Good to hear from you, we miss you too. I am sure your meeting went fine, I don't think they could be in better hands. I have total faith in you and your abilities.
Can't wait to catch up. Are you still coming to the retreat???
Hope you have a good week.
