A little basketball and then basically an email to Steffany

Well, my bracket's shot to hell, but that's ok. Because everyone's bracket is screwed. Seriously, on ESPN this morning they said that of the 3 million people who had filled out brackets this year, FOUR had the final four picked correctly. Four. Because honestly, who in their right mind would ever have picked George Mason to get to the final four? Also, Go Gators.

So, Steffany- remember last year when I posted on LJ about that guy who looked at the economic impact of the law? I ranted for several paragraphs about how lame my classmates were for not agreeing with Richard Posner, and then repeated his self-evaluation: "I have exactly the same personality as my cat. I am cold, furtive, callous, snobbish, selfish, and playful, but with a streak of cruelty." (And I still think that's awesome.) Anyway, it turns out that not only does he have a website, but he also has a blog! I am totally excited. I found it via the Adam Smith, Esq. blog which I read fairly regularly.

Also for Steffany: at work the other day (the job at the craft store obviously) one of the ladies who works in the yarn department (yes, we have a yarn department) had all these other people around her saying things like "yummy!" and "wow! what a hottie!" (keep in mind I am the youngest employee in the store by at least 20 years) So I naturally was wondering what they were looking at. It was a centerfold (!) in the Vogue Knitting magazine. Why the Vogue KNITTING magazine had a centerfold is kinda beyond me, but they did. And this was the picture. PJ (one of the cashiers who has led an "interesting" life) of course made the comment "look at the size of his needle!":
